These sessions and any other additional extras will be payable at the end of the retreat in cash.
Things to note:
Minimum group of guests to guarantee the retreat is run: 4
Every morning we offer an optional exercise session at 7:30am. The exercises will vary depending on guests needs and abilities but will be a mixture of circuit & functional training, walking and stretching. Every evening there will be an optional winding down session, where we will teach you how to calm your body and mind for a more restful sleep with a use of various techniques.
Unless otherwise stated, breakfast will always be served at 9:00am and lunch at the villa will be between 1:00pm and 2:30pm. All dinners include house red wine, if you wish to drink any other alcoholic beverages this will be at an extra charge. All meals, both in the villa and out, will be set menus (that’s how we roll in Tuscany!) so if you would like any extra food or drinks these can be purchased directly at the restaurant or at the supermarket on the first day. We will swing by there on the way to the villa, so this is your opportunity to purchase anything extra you might want. Please note, the accommodation is not close to any shops so this will be your only opportunity. All soft drinks, including water, tea and coffee, will be provided throughout the duration of the retreat.
The hike in the Pratomagno mountain is moderate difficulty with some inclines but is perfectly accessible to anyone with general fitness levels. Please bring a day pack, comfortable trainers or walking shoes and a rain mac for this day. Please note, this activity is subject to weather conditions. An alternative activity will provided if weather does not permit.
This program is flexible to some degree, depending on the needs of the guests. If for example we all agree we need more or less time on a particular Uppy session, or more time to chill out we will assess where we’re at and take a majority vote, and adjust accordingly. This week is all about you and creating an environment and program that allows you to breakthrough and change your life, so please do not hesitate to ask for assistance whenever you need - Laura and Matteo will be available at all times.
This retreat has been designed to enable you to manage stress and take control of your body and life for the long-term. Therefore we do require a fairly full itinerary to teach you all the necessary elements. However the itinerary has been carefully crafted to give you the perfect blend of work and play, with a lot of the learning happening through experience. So, if you simply want to relax for a week and be pampered, this retreat is not for you. If however you want to create massive change and you’re prepared to put in a bit of time and effort to get it, while embracing once in a lifetime experiences with a lot of laughs, this retreat is 100% for you and you will 100% reap the rewards.
This is a coaching program, which means you’ll need to do most of the work. I’m here to guide you and give you the tools to get your life and health on track – it’s up to you to put them into place.
Traditionally a coach will show you how to ‘do it for yourself’, which I will predominantly do, however I will also give you specific advice, share knowledge and experiences, and ‘call you out’ where I feel it is necessary in order to help you move forward on your journey.
Remember, we are dealing with real change in this program and in some cases will be changing beliefs and behaviours that you have had for most of your life. During the week I will give you tools and opportunities to get clear around what you need to do, and together we will create a personalised plan with the steps to take to make it happen clearly defined. However it is imperative that you enter into this retreat and program with the understanding that it will not be a ‘quick fix’, and in order for you to get the best results you must be prepared to continue the work and put those steps into action when you return home.

Hi, I am Matteo, I was born in
Firenze and I lived my childhood in a medieval village called Castelfranco di Sopra.
I have lived in Tuscany all my life, and it has become part of my soul. It’s a place I love and respect, and it never ceases to take my breath away.
Although I attended art school in Florence, since my early 20s I have worked for a number of well-known travel agencies and tour operators.
While working there, I had the opportunity to plan and lead many tours for English, American and Australian visitors. I love leading tour groups and find great pleasure in introducing visitors to the hidden gems of a land that is so rich in history, culture, traditions, food, wine and the warm hospitality of the authentic Tuscan people.
